Sailing at Jolly Harbour Yacht Club

First and foremost we are a sailing club but sailing is a great deal more than just getting out on the water. It is a sport and for some a passion. For others, they just prefer to cruise and enjoy the wonderful bays and beaches that Antigua and Barbuda offers or even sailing to other islands independently or as part of one of our organised sailing trips.

 

For some it is about being competitive and making their boat go as fast as possible and taking part in sailing races. 

We hold a competitive club sail every Saturday afternoon at 2pm.  Duration is around two hours with results being announced at the bar at 5.30pm

In November, we organise our annual regatta and in February, we host the famous and popular Valentine's Regatta which attracts both local club boats as well as boats from other yacht clubs.

New for 2026/7 will be the introduction of a new One Design Elite Class, including the hosting of the "Elite One Design Caribbean Championship 9th-12th February 2027.
